perfect attendance dinner today

DETAILED TODAY?
company holds a dinner each year for it. 3 from my group. was really not going to go, but today will be 12pm till 8pm. instead of 3:30pm till ? so, dinner at a local church hall out there (catered) then drive back to work, punch in, work till 8. really going just to get out early. :D

in the past they really made a big deal about it. dinner/pre paid visa/paid day off from work etc.... but guess like all things they toned it down.

and they drew 2 winners for 1 week paid vacation. (that would have been sweet!)

yea, that would have been great! its a bit slow today and friday, so they did offer what they call UPTO. UNPAID TIME OFF. not to everyone, but you submit your name if your interested. tooooo tempting!! before i left yesterday i did inquire about friday, but two took it already. chances are we all should get out a little bit early today and friday. really, the way it should be done is WE ALL LEAVE EARLY as a shift, rather than just a few.

you start taking too much UPTO and you check suffers! weather is going to be crappy today and friday anyway.
