Just One More Coat
Today I had a long trip for a meeting into the San Francisco bay area....great weather so that made the trip a little easier...Anyway I took my Mruano as it gets better mileage and is a bit higher up so that I can see traffic better.
Like most on here I'm sure, I'm always looking at the cars passing by...The one thing that I started to notice was how people sit while they drive.
One gal that passed me in traffic had her left foot resting on dash...her left knee was rising above the window sil
Some had their seats back so far they looked like they where in recliners...I'm still at a lose as to how they where holding onto the steering wheel.
Some are going side saddle leaning over the center arm rest looking like they are sitting in the middle of the front seat...and then the classic low rider...from the back of the car you wonder if anyone is driving
I guess the one common thing that came to mind for me was in an emergency situation would they be able to handle the car...my thoughts are no!
When I drive I sit-up and pay attention to what I am doing both hands on the wheel and try to stay aware of what's going on around me...In the years that I have been driving I have not had one accident.
