Stopped in Big Lots last week and was looking around and found a bottle of Pearl Glo. It's made by Kit and is acrylic based. That got me interested enough to buy a bottle. I applied it to the hood of my Miata which doesn't have very nice paint-lots of rids. It claims to fill but if it does it sure doesn't fill much. It streaks a bit but that may have just been because I didn't allow it to cure long enough before wiping it off. The acrylic sealant looks good but I applied the spray sealant which upped the gloss. This stuff has a very clear wet glossy look. After a few days I washed with NXT which isn't the mildest soap and was surprised at the immediate sheeting action. The gloss didn't immediately fall off like many products loaded with glossy oils.
Overall, I have to admit that for $2 a bottle this Kit product this is fairly impressive. As a 2 step system it will leave a high gloss shine but that shine may be too glossy for some-this definitely has a sealant look. The spray sealant may work well as a gloss enhancer over another product but the bottle does say that it contains isopropyl alcohol which depending on the percentage may somewhat degrade a previous application of a product. At $2 a bottle it's cheap enough to pick up just to play around with. The liquid sealant might also work well as a glaze under your favorite wax. The manufacturer makes no claims regarding UV protection on either product.
Kit doesn't have the product listed on it's website so I'm assuming that it is no longer being produced and it seems as if only some Big Lots stores have it on the shelf so supply may be severely limited or non existent in your area.
