Poorboys Rules!
Okay, so I've been around here for a short time now and have found this site to be extremely helpful for me. I'm learning new things every day and already can see a difference in how well my car is being maintained.
It seems that the bulk of the people here use a PC7424 for polishing their cars and I plan to buy one from one of the site sponsors in the coming weeks providing I have some more side jobs come through to help fund it and the supplies I'll need to go with it, as it's quite an investment.
My black car has a decent shine to it right now, since it's an 06 model, but there is minimal swirling that I'd like to eliminate/minimize, but I'm afraid that I'm going to get this PC, try it, only to find that I made a swirly mess out of my new car.
My question is just how easy is this PC to use? I mean...am I going to be able to plug it in and get started and see instant results?...or am I going to be frustrated, working with it for months to figure it out and have to live with a swirly mess until I learn how to use it properly? Is there a science to it, or is it pretty easy?
I've seen so many dark cars with swirl marks and haloing all over them and I don't want to suffer that fate.
Any encouragement or tips would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!
