PC VS Cyclo

I hear lots of good things about these polishers. I would like to get one for christmas what are the major differences between the 2 and which one has more capability to remove minor surface scratches.

The Cyclo has better capacity to remove minor defects Think of it as a perfectly balanced PC on setting "6". I need the Cyclo for my hard paint: both Audi and extremely stubborn 15 year old Caddy paint. It' s got to be my most favorite tool in my arsenal and I have the trinity: PC, Cyclo, rotary.

The Cyclo will last last for years and years with likely no service. My friend on another forum has one that's 20 plus years old, was abused in a shop environment and left over winter buried in snow, it was plugged in and is still fine :bigups

I'd highly recommend Lake Country pads if you can track them down for the Cyclo.

I'm also interested in the new Cyclo orange pads and apparently Sonus is coming out with some too.

I'd encourage Premium Auto Care to carry the Cyclo and Cyclo and LC pads for it.

Bill your going to get another trend going. First the foam gun...Now the PC, Cyclo, Rotary option. I think I'm going to go broke.

The cyclo takes some getting use to. We only use them on very large vehicles-RVs, airplanes, etc.........

You can cover large areas with it but I perfer the PC for cars.

One of mine busted after polishing 3 RVs.

I'm using the Cyclo when I need to polish, exclusively now because it provides just an extra bit of bite necessary for my paint ( nothing severe enough to just go to a rotary)

I did just the opposite Bill! I bought a Cyclo first and from reading all the posts, I thought I was missing out on not having a PC. Now I have both, and have my eye on the Metabo that TOL sells as my choice for Rotary. Ah, toys! Gottta Luv'em :dancin :lol
