PC Questions

Im thinking about getting a polisher, I assuming a Porter Cable 7424 would be the best choice. What about the pads, what kind would be the best to start out with. They look fairly expensive, how long do they last.

i would say the pc with the lc pads. I bought the sonus das pads 2 weeks ago, but autopia-carcare.com has their lc pads on closeout at 40% off!! you cant beat it!! you can get a cutting pad, polishing pad, and a finishing pad for around $18 plus shipping!! ...only lasts til jan 30 though.

I got the 7336 from lowe's with the pad kit from autogeek. I like those pretty well, but I decided against the LC pads when I put my order in to Autopia, although I did get a bunch of other stuff. If you already have a backing plate, those are a really good deal, but if you don't have one, it's going to cost you about the same as the kit. Autogeek's kit came with some MF's that are pretty nice, so that was the winner for me.
