I was thinking about picking up some new pads for PC. I currently use Meguiar's 6.5 foam polishing and finishing pads and they seem to work well for me. however, I used the Meguiar's burgundy pad (which they do not recommend for use with PC) with my PC and DACP. The car was black and I did remove the swirls with two passes, But it took forever and a day to remove the micro marring left by it. I was thinking about the LC or Sonus Orange Pads? Also are these pads flat or curved?
I really like Meguiar's polishing pad with DACP, But when swirls are to deep, I want something a notch more aggressive then Meg's polishing But not nearly as aggressive as burgundy cutting.
Some swirls seem so tuff to remove, looking for a little more bite with out all the marring issues. Is this even possible?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I know everyone loves to look at pics, so here are a few of my second detail:There are more pics if you scroll down the page.
