Which is better and what are the differences? I heard the 7224 has a 5" counter weight and the 7336 has a 6"

Exact same machine except for the weight and a few accessories. The weight can be picked up for about $3.00. Many people like the 6" counterweight regardless of what size pads they are using.

You mean the 7424. You are right it does seem that way and it makes no sense. The 7336 is cheaper and basicly the same machine except for the counter weight. Then many people that buy the 7424 go and purchase a 6 inch weight and install it in the 7424 converting the thing into a 7336. They could have purchased the 7336 in the first place for cheaper.

Thats about as good a deal as you will get on the PC.
