I was doing a detail for a freind of mine on his car and decided to use the PC on the hood since it had some rough swirls and scratches. I went with Danase swirl abolisher II on a LC CCS 6 inch orange pad, then followed up with Danase swirl abolisher I on a LC CCS 6 inch white pad. Everything seemed to look good, most all of the scratches and swrils apperaed to be gone, so I did a final wash before waxing. What I noticed after on the hood were faint swirl marks that looked like they were shaped from the movement of the pad. I wasn't dry polishing and I made sure that the polishes were broke down completely, so this seems kind of strange.
Is the LC CCS white pad and danase swirl abolisher I to agressive for a finishing polish? Do I need to step it down to a grey pad and try again, or is the polish still to agressive? Any insight would be appreciated
