PB's Bug Squash - will it strip LSPs?

I just ordered some PB's Bug Squash to try out. Spring is around the corner and bugs can get nasty here.

Anybody have any experience with it (good or bad)?

Will it remove LSP?

Thanks for any info.

I just got some too. Almost can't wait for the bugs to come out. I was wondering the same thing about LSP. I would think it would. But I would like to know also.

I would go to Detail City and post there since Steve from Poorboys has a forum there and you will get the info straight from the seller....

I have heard using it straight will remove LSP....mixed 3:1 was a safe mix...or 50/50 was another mix...

best to get the info from Steve..he knows his products best

You're right about Steve being a sponsor over at Detail City. I used to post there but have kind of gravitated to just participation in this forum.

Plus...some people actually seem to get irritated if you have the nerve to post the same question on more than one forum.:LOLOL

I like it, worked well as a pre soak before washing or let sit for 1-3 minutes and wipe of crud.

3-1 ratio is safe on lsp.

I only used it a couple of times full strength on a towel to remove some really bad stuff then followed up with a re application of my lsp.

nice product.

Cant' tell you if it worked any better than any other bug cleaner.

I do plan to try Duragloss's Bug cleaner this summer.

My experience is that even at 3:1 BS does remove your LSP, based on water beading and other qualitative observations. For this reason, I always reapply at least one coat of my LSP after using BS. If you dilute it out far enough to not strip the LSP, it probably will not have enough bite to remove the bugs. This is just my experience, yours may vary. The times that I made note of this, my LSP was EX-P if it matters.

I've seen this question posted a few times on Detail City. Steve usually chimes in and says it does not strip LSP. I have Bug Squash and it's a great product. It works really well on road salt and bugs (not as effective as I'd like on tar though). TBH, I've never bothered to look at whether it was stripping LSP though.
