Paste Glaz discontinued

On autogeek.net and on pinnaclewax.com, Paste Glaz is listed as discontinued. I've never used it and don't have any light colored cars, but figured someone might be interested. If you love it, better stock up!

And if anyone's used it and Liquid Souveran, I'd love to hear differences (other than ones a paste, one a liquid). I find LS has lots of reflection and decent gloss and depth. Seems like it would be better on lighter colors also, though it's a nice enough looking product (I really like it on the Regal due to how well it holds up and how slick it feels).

I bought a tub several years ago and have hardly put a dent in it....a little goes a LONG ways!

I've found that LS attracts fewer bugs, oddly enough. I once used it the morning before a show and it ended up attracting every bug in the valley all afternoon. 3000 bugs flying around and landing on a white car tends to show up. lol I think its because PPG is so fruity smelling and the bugs love it. I think optically they are very similar, but I haven't compared them lately. The bug thing is what stands out in my mind. Now when I use PPG, I just put it on at night and park it in a garage till the oils have a chance to evaporate a bit. :bigups

I would agree that if Paste Glaz is something you want to try, it is worth snagging up some of the remaining stock. It was the first high end product I ever tried. If I had a light colored car, I'd really consider reordering some but there is just something about black paint and Souveran.... :)

I was reading through some older posts about Paste Glaz and Signature, and several times it was mentioned that Signature was the replacement of Paste Glaz. Anyone know if that is true?

Anthony: I just got my Paste Glaz in yesterday and it smelled like crayons...Just like S100...No scent whatsoever...I guess they changed the formula?

I'm looking forward to tring it :)

Hey Sean... Didn't I give you some paste glaz with that other stuff? I thought I did... Anyway, personally I think I prefer Signature to Paste Glaz. It is at least a comporable wax and I feel that it actually has an edge to it. On white it is really hard to demonstrate what a wax does, but Signature seems to be a little wetter looking than PPG. Either wax is going to look amazing on a light colored car, but given the choice and having tried them both, I think I'd go with the Signature.

Not to change the product discussion but where does Nattys fall into place. Is it a better product than PG or about the same?

I think Natty's is wetter looking but PG has more depth, kind of a deep liquid look vs Natty's wet surface look. I like both, in fact, I top Souveran with Natty's to add more surface wetness.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've got 3 jars! I got 2 with the bogo & the free Xmas one...don't know when I'll use some because I really like the Signature on my car...I'm sure I'll try it on someone's car though.

I was so upset that I missed the free jar of PG. :doh Now every time I visit the forums I hear about someone who got their free jar...:angry

Maybe free jars of Souveran will be in the near future. :)

We can only dream that Souveran will be one of the give a ways! SilverLexus and I think it would be appropriate for the 12th product.

I'd be ecstatic if they do Signature...or even Liquid Souveran (another product I have and need to try).

I might be up for trading one of the jars of PG...PM me if you are interested....I doubt I'll ever use all 3.
