Do you ever notice how quickly stuff gets embedded into the wax/polish?



I was just out playing with the car and did the feel test on the surface of the car. I couldn't believe how quickly crap gets on the finish. Not the wipe off type, but polish or clay type stuff.



What the heck is in the air these days? The car hasn't even been rained on since it was last detailed.



Oh well now I get to play some more and put her away soon for the winter.
 
A lot of the crud on my cars can be quite seasonal. Tree sap, pollens and bug guts/poop are notoriously weather dependent. Around here we also have our annual brush fire season (ash from wildfires is extremely gritty and corrosive).
