Parking garage

I noticed a couple thread writeups where a couple guys did their work in a parking garage and seeing as I am mobile and some people dont have a garage how they worked this out. One of the threads for example had two different cars so I would imagine that they were both met in the garage as opposed to 2 clients both working and parking there. Opinions? I have a couple garages near by and this would be ideal but I'm not sure..:nixweiss Does anyone else have people park in a garage?? Just wondering, as it made me think...

You are referring to the Land rover and the 911? It looked pretty good. I couldnt see why it wouldnt work if you have expressed permission of the owner of the garage. Im pretty sure there is power outlets in them and you can use an ONR wash. That seems like a good iea actually. I might try it out this summer. Plus your always in shade!

Parking garages are awesome. I just did an LS 460 in one.

Nice temperature, shade, electrical.

had to do an ONR wash, but I love it because ONR takes no time at all compared to a regular wash.

I was actually thinking of it for winter details...like undercarriage and crap removal at a close Coin op and then thinking of doing the remaining in the garage...i had no idea they had an abundance of outlets...where are they normally placed?? lol

Some parking garages are way too dark. There is also the possibility of having a difficult time finding room to work because they cram so many cars in some of them. Myself, I run everything off of power inverters, so I don't know about whether or not they have electricity available.

I've only done a couple in parking garages, and the last time I thought I had permission, but the guy I talked to had a supervisor that didn't like me being there. They let me finish the job, and then asked me to leave. If you used anything other than ONR or QEW, like some sort of pressure washer to wash, I would think that they would frown on much water being on their lot, as the people that go through there may not want to get their shoes wet.

I try to avoid them, but I can see why they might be advantageous in the right situation.
