I had a couple half-dollar sized holes on my car. So I put some body filler in there and sanded it down with 80 grit sand paper, then i sanded it smoother with 180 grit, and this is all i have done so far.
Before i spray my primer, color and clear coat, is there anything else that i need to do? Someone told me to wetsand it with 220 grit paper to smooth down the sand marks from the 80 grit.
Also, after i spray my primer, color, and clear coat, what should i do to make the repair blend in with the rest of the car, because i know it's going to be duller than the surrounding area. My repair is about a square foot area.
I was told i need to wetsand it, and then use a ratary to bring back the dulled finish from the wetsanding. Why does it need wet sanded? I have never used a rotary, or have never really wetsanded and dont have a PC, so will some izup and izpp maybe do a good job?
