I searched the forum and could not find any info on how to polish a painted aluminum boat. Should it be treated like automotive paint or more like gel coat? I'm just not sure how to best tackle it. I have not actually seen the boat yet, but the customer I am doing it for says it needs a "spruce up" so I'm guessing it is faded/oxidized.
The tools/products I have at my disposal are the following...
PC with LC orange, green, white, black, and red pads
Makita 9227C with wool, purple, and yellow pads
1500 grit wet dry discs for use with PC
1000, 1500, 2000 grit wet dry sheets
Megs 105/205
Megs Flagship marine wax
