Paint stained Golf??

Ok i have seen this Golf in the carpark which i use. I was wondering if i were to take this on. How would i remove the paint.



It has paint on the tyres too. It looks like someone has dropped a can of paint over the car. Quite annoying



Is #80 good enough or would i need something more aggressive as i could get away with a good price as the only other alternative is a repaint!



I dont know if its a gloss or emulsion..........

~One mans opinion / observations~



I would clean the surface with P21S Total Auto Wash, followed by Magic Clay (Red bar) and then follow with paint cleaner.



There are a number of products that are specially formulated for this purpose (Dupontâ€â„¢s Prepsol, Groit's Paint Prep, or Rohm & Haas Acrysol) will clean a paint film surface. These should remove the paint while maintaining the original paint finish.



I would try this before I would consider an abrasive polish

The very first thing that needs to be done is to identify exactly what type of paint has been dropped onto the surface. Is it latex, oil based, etc?
