Paint repair on bumper

Kind of know what to do to repair scratch on body paint but on a plastic bumper? Could I simply sand down and apply touch up paint then clear coat, polish and call it a day? Just a couple some chips and scratch to fix on a 2003 Buick LeSabre, factory paint.

While it won't have the flex additive that's usually used for such applications, for a small DIY repair it oughta work out OK. At least until something flexes the plastic and causes it to crack.



I did that to a spot on my S8's (plastic) rear bumper cover and it's been OK for over five years.
