These are not the actual wheels, but the exact style/color. They have a couple minor abrasions on them that I'd rather touch up and wetsand (for a customer) than hit them with $50+ in materials alone as shown by the link below.

If anyone knows of a paint that matches, either factory or none, please let me know. Thanks!

Sean,

Supposedly that wurth silver is a "German" silver its used all the time for Porsche, VW, and Audi rims to include the 5 spoke A4 Sport rims you posted above. It should be a perfect match.

GSRstilez:

I was on Glasurit's website looking for information on paint for my '05 B6 A4 (I had a project going where I was re-painting some parts) and they had AVUS SILBER MET (Metallic) - LZ17 (color code) listed as the color for the wheels.

I looked it up for the B7 and it's the same.

Zack is right about the Wruth rattle can's. There are write-ups over on Audiworld for re-finishing/touching up Audi Wheels with this paint.

So there you have it. The best of both worlds

Looks like I will be ordering the Wurth :).

When you guys heard of these stories, did the owners use the clear as well?

Thanks.

Thanks everyone.

I ordered the Wurth Paint and will give it a go once it comes in. The defects are minor and its on the customer's spare wheel. Any minor defect bothers her and she wants the spare as close to the rest of her wheels without dumping a lot of money. I will post my results once completed.

I looked under Sherwin Williams formula express and they didnt list a paint code for the wheels.

I didnt have a specific year and color code to go by, but I didnt see any wheel color for an Audi A4 listed

It seems impossible to get the color code for most wheels. My friend bought some used wheels for her Hyundai that had to be touched up, no one listed the color, I called Hyundai, they said I had to ask the dealer, the dealers didn't know, told me I had to ask Hyundai, or told me to call their paint supplier, who said I would have to bring the wheel and they would try to match it and I would have to buy a pint or quart of paint...wound up going to several auto parts stores and picking some car touch-up colors we thought were close (what a disaster--don't do this--I think later I even carried the wheel into one place but we still couldn't find anything exact--know how many silver colors there are? Tons!)
