Ive had this car for a under 2 weeks and already yesterday while washing it I found my first paint chip. Its is small but a tiny part of it is down to the metal. From what Ive read I should put a layer or 2 of primer down first before the touchup paint. Is there a name brand that I should look for or will any automotive primer work? Will pepboys or somewhere similar carry this? I had also read something about etch primer? Here a pic of what it looks like.
