Pads differences

Intend to get the PC soon,but not to sure what kinda pads to go with.Whats the difference between the LC,SFX,DAS,PROPEL and EXCEL pads if theres any.Heard about Meguiar`s too.What the common size for pads and do i need to get a 5" BP and counterweight?To all the Pro`s kindly need your advice and expertise advice.What type of pads should i get and how many of each to get me started.Thanks.Your help will be much appreciated.

There are minor differences between some of those pads, but it will be up to you to figure out your personal preferences.

1 thing to make sure of before you buy: ensure your pads' velcro backing is larger than your backing plate. Otherwise the backing plate will cut into the pad.
