Pad sizes???

I tried searching but I am still confused. I have a PC and I need to order some new pads. What is the main difference in the 6.5" and the 5.5" other than size? Does the smaller spin faster thus doing a better job?

On a PC I like the 5.5" low profile pads. It doesn't seem to spin much faster, but when you apply pressure with the low profile pads it does not bog down as much as the regular 5.5 or the 6.5.

x2. The 6.5 in pads bog up with little pressure, 5.5's do not. We use 5.5 for paint correction, and 6.5's for glaze/wax application. Seems to work out better that way.
