Pad recommended with SSR 2 and SSR 1

Using a rotary and Lake Country 8" CCS pads. I'm thinking orange and black?
Or white?
I have white orange green black.
Car is a black Metallic Regal GS... Basic an Opel and from what I understand, that hard German finish system. :)

I use Lake Country VC pads. By advice of Ronk. I have an orange pad for the heavy scratches and use the white pads for the general polishing. Black pad for the final

I dunno I have "heavy" scratches... A little swirling, holograming at worst. I'll go white/black on the worst damage I can find and see how that goes.
Thanks!

That should do ya (as long as lc)

Ooh don't hear much about the Poorboys polishes much any more

I'd echo the LC white statement, and I expect you will have good luck.

I've had decent results with PB's SSR with my DA in the past... Their glaze, not so much.
This will be my first time with a rotary and SSR

Yes they are. Thanks for the advice. They hold up on the urethane paint on the semi trucks really well. They make them fit the Flex 3401? Really need to upgrade

yes, we had them custom made for the Flex 5.5 inch backing plate

So... Worked the paint last weekend. Not 100% happy with the results. Slight swirl/spider webbing still visible on the car in direct sunlight. This was with SSR 2 with white pad and SSR 1 on black pad.
Looks incredible (2 coats of Blackfire sealant, wax layering yet to come) out of direct sunlight!
Wondering if I should of went SSR 2.5 on white or maybe SSR 2 on orange pad...?
Oh well, it`ll have to wait til next spring now!

I like 2.5, never really saw a use for 2.0

Had a good look at the car in the direct sunlight. Looks like the sides (vertical surfaces) of the car are the worst... Probably not enough weight/time with the polisher there....? In retrospect, I probably should of started on the sides!
Gonna redo the sides with orange pad/SSR 2.5.

Nailed it! Could of saved me a whole wack of time!
Orange LC pad with SSR 2.5 at 1100 rpm... And it still needed a pretty good working over (in 85% sunlight? The black paint was pretty warm). Finished with SSR 1 and black pad at 1400rpm
