Pad differences

I've been reading a bit about rotarys and I'm deciding on which machine to get. Right now I'm leaning towards dynabrade.



My question is that most of the rotary pads are 7.5" or larger, while the smaller pads are labebed as "dual action". Is this correct, or can you use any pads on any machine?

I use the 6.5" flat pads a lot with the rotary. No problems at all.

it's the same pad

if you are starting out on a rotary the smaller ones are a little easier to controll

Same here. I use 6.5" LC Flat Foam Pads and I also use the 6.5" LC CCS Foam Pads.

Same pad different size as mentioned, 6.5 inch will work with most rotary backing plates
