Pad descriptions

The Rainmaker
The references to orange, green, white, blue, red, black, tan, yellow............
pads doesn't do much for me.
It would be great if you would use the pads intended use in the description.
You know, like cutting, polishing, finishing, etc.

I left out part of my post. This is a good idea since manufactures use the same colors, but for different purposes, eg. one may pink for cutting and another for finishing. I just found out the other day that LC makes a green pad (heavy polish, less cut than the orange, but more than the white) and a blue pad (finishing, less cut than the grey), which differs in cut level from other manufactures. I see your point Charles.
