hi guys

04 BLK Denali -- I'm going to use the porter cable w/ the following pads:

Should I order two fine finishing pads and two light polishing pads?

would that be the right pads to use?

Is this everything I need!?!?!

thanks!

What products are you planning to use?
IMO, Swirl removal with a polishing pad, polishes with a polishing pad, last step liquid wax or sealant with a finishing pad.
You might find using Meg's #16 or any paste wax, easier to apply by hand than the PC.
While I have 9 pads, I really only need 3.
1 polishing for Meg's #9
1 polishing for Klasse AIO
1 finishing for 4 Star UPP

You are right Charles but I considered that being new to it he may want to have room to experiment. For example, some (like me) used the finishing pads for applying light cleaner polishes (S100Shine-enhancing Cleanser). Also for applying as well as buffing off wax. If like most who become interested in posting here at DC, although he may start with a paste wax (#16) it is likely more products will be tried (UPP for example). By having a few pads right up front, he has something to work with.

So perhaps all of the pads?

Is there a kit? Where should I order from? If I buy the PC from premuimautocare.com and the pads... will i have everything needed? thanks

Just to confuse you a little more.
You might want to look into the Edge system before deciding what pads to buy.
If you plan to buy from Premium Auto Care, you could call Dwayne at PAC and get his suggestions. He has several different pad kits and accessories available and he won't steer you wrong.
In fact, I think you could call and ask Dwayne even if you don't buy the stuff from him.
