I thought id gather, confirm or correct any information on variations in pad brand dimentions for 5"/125mm-6"/150mm random orbital/dual action polishers to help ppl like myself on deciding what brand of pad to get. :wavey
meguiars (6.5" foam, suitable for 6" backing with no clearance but good for 5" backing);
meguiars (8" foam, suitable for 5" backing);
sonus SFX (6" foam, suitable for a 6" backing with little clearance but good for a 5" backing);
sonus DAS (unsure on foam size please advise, indentation suited for 5" backing, foam edge for cornering);
propel (7" foam 6" velcro, suitable for 6" backing with no clearance but good for 5" backing, extra foam for cornering);
edge (6" foam, unsure about velcro size & suitable backing plates please advise);
country lake/wolfgang (6.5" foam, 6" velcro, suitable for 6" backing with no clearance but good for 5" backing);
country lake/wolfgang curved edge (7.5" foam, unsure about velcro size please advise, indentation suitable for 5-6" backing, foam edge for cornering);
