P21S app pad...

Who uses the applicator that comes with the P21S? Is it good? Should I use this and think nothing of it? Just curious. If not this app then which/what kind do you recomend?
 
i use it. it works pretty well. the yellow meguiar pads are probably better because they're less flimsy.
 
If you're talkin' about that black or grey pad that comes in the can of P21S wax I've used it. It applies wax fine, but becomes saturated very quickly. After one use I threw it away and use the regular yellow foam applicator pads with P21S now.
 
i use it, put it back in thed jar and keep using it. The only time it has a chancec to get dirty is when I am waxing, which if it does, i throw it away.



If wax gets stuck in the pad, if i can i re use the pad. There is wax left in the pad.

The S100/P21S applicator is my favorite wax applicator! I even love to use it when I apply Souveran wax.



I wash the pad with dawn and rinse it out after every waxing session. I wish I could by a couple more as it makes it easy to apply a nice thin layer of wax and the size size makes it easy to fit into tight areas.

The pad is okay, but once there is room in the jar to stuff the larger Meguiars hand pad in there, that is what I use.

I also love this tiny sponge pad. Actually, my P21S/Souveran mixture experiment was created by using a saturated P21S pad and adding some Souveran.

I wish CMA or anyone sold these exact pads.:xyxthumbs

Great minds think alike! :D



Last night when applying my third layer of EX, I found that spritzing the microfiber applicator with filtered water to keep the applicator moist, made applying EX much easier. I was able to apply thinner coats which made it about as easy to remove as P21S! :xyxthumbs
