p/c !!!!!!!! awesome

i just tryed my new p/c for the first time with a 6.5 inch pad .i have to say this thing is aewsome i just did a small panel on my truckdo to the weather i cant really do anymore. and it removed the swirls no prob. the only thing i have to get used to is the vibration. i guess thats normal
 
Yeah that machine vibrates like crazy. Sometimes my hands get numb. I find if you keep the speed at 5 and under, take care to center the pads as well as possible, and grip the top of the machine instead of the side handle the vibration is not as bad.

I don't think its that bad at all...I think if your hands actually get numb, then they are not strong enough.
 
I don't think that the vibrations are that bad.....nowhere near as bad as the cheapie walmart Orbital that used to use. I do tend to get a blister from the handle by the end of a detail though. I'm going to try it without the handle next time I use it.

Its good you like the PC!!



As far as vibrations goes you can get gloves that are padded and do help reduce them.



I notice alot of guys who do it for living dont even wear them, i dread to think of the long term damage.



But yeah, i should think any hardware store should be able to point you in the direction of there virabtion reducing gloves, check google too.



Better to be safe them sorry!! The thing is once you have PC, unless you start to help out your friends you tend to start to use it less when the swirls are gone!!

thanks. i had the cyclo and that didnt vibrate at all . but i have to admit i love the p/c more ill get used to the vibration .

Very interesting! You like the PC more than the Cyclo? That might be the first time I ever heard that. Can you elaborate on why you feel that way? What would you say are the advantages of the PC over the Cyclo?

the cyclo is an awesome machine dont get me wrong. i just felt it wasnt a right fit for me .do to it being a little bulky. my trucks have a lot of decals on them and i just felt it was a little hard to get in those hard to reach areas.around all my lettering. thats all. with the p/c i can change pads to fit my needs .

Then my hands are abnormally strong or yours are a bit feminine, because I've used the PC for 5-6 hours in a row with no issues whatsoever. It can be loud yes, but vibrates badly? No way.



In fact my only issue with it is that the stupid OPM wheel is at the base of the machine and it should be just fore or aft of the power switch.

FIRST OF ALL TOUGHGUY!!! I SAID THE MACHINE VIBRATES I DIDNT SAY IT VIBRATES SO MUCH I CANT HANDLE IT . READ MY TOPIC IT SAYS P/C AWESOME !!!!!!!!! I DOSENT SAY P/C VIBRATES AND HURTS MY HANDS. GET IT STRAIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I MEARLY SAID IT VIBRATES. AND I DOES .AND SO DOES OTHER REPLYS IV GOTTEN SAY THE SAME THING.!!!!!!
