But you're the one creating the downward spiral here no one else.

Charge $200. IF the customer pays you then you know you're in the ball park.

The odd thing here is that if you're a "Expert carpet cleaner for years" how do you not know what an ozone treatment goes for? I would think that would be a common thing. Weather it be a house or a car you should have some basic knowledge on what to charge. I'm sure like detailing it's 100% location specific. so really.. You're the only one that would have even the slightest clue about what to charge in your area.

I never ozoned. I never needed it. I hope I don't need it today.

Let me apologize. I made a bigger deal than I needed to over the whole thing. By multiple people saying what they said, I think there's a good chance I was not 100% specific in how I worded my OP. My mistake and I am sorry for speaking like an ***. Not sure what got in me.

This is only my experience and what I have learned and read about odorsand removing or eliminating them.

#1. The source. Where is the odor coming from? Seats, carpet, vents, arm pits!

#2. What is it? ie: Food, animal waste, sour water, dead body, vomit, etc.

#3. Can the source be removed, washed ,shampooed, deodorized, replaced?

#4. Do you have the knowledge and equipment to remove the odor?

I do have and Ozone Generator and it will remove most smells. The price varies. My basic is $125 to $200 Which boils down to about 2 hours of runtime in the contaminated area, twice that for heavy smoke removal. Still, if the source is not found, the odor can return. So you have an idea of what needs to be done.
