oxy clean vs. new car interiors

hey everyone. i haven't used oxy clean before but am going to get into using it. my concern is most of the g.m. interior seats are made of a new nylon type material and some cleaners will leave a ring around the area you cleaned. does anyone have any problems liek this with oxy? thanks alot.
 
me neither.....i only use oxy clean on the floormats and as a spot remover on the carpet, i use turtle wax upholstery cleaner i get fromj walmart and occasionaly simple green diluted 3:1 on the seats.....stains on the seats never seem to be to bad.....seems to work fine

i think it is a moisture ring because even if you spill water on these seats, it seems to leave a ring. :mad:
 
We used Oxi-Clean on a soft fabric pillow that got a water stain at a nearby furniture store, and it helped. They were desperate, so no problem. Test under the seat first.

the carpets aren't the problem it is the seats themselves. g.m. uses a really cheap type of material now that seems to stain very easy.

And take along time to dry sounds like.

Woolite is very gentle on fabrics . It will foam up alot if aggitated too much . Dilute it and dab with a MF

yeah they do take longer to dry it seems. thanks for the advice folks.

People call it Oxy Clean or Oxi Clean, and you can get it in the laundry dept of any hardware, grocery, or department store, including Walmart.
 
Ah man I was just at Target today. I knew there was something I was missing. Thanks I'll check next time I'm near a Walmart or Target.
