Hello all.
This is my first post here after several hours of reading. Great site.
I'll be helping a friend detail his 1996 Toyota Corolla in a couple weeks and had a couple of quesions. The car is a blue metallic color and hasn't been too well taken care of.
I have a PC 7427 and was looking into getting some LC pads.
I figured I could start with an Orange pad and move up to the White. I currently have Megs Mirror Glaze 9 (which I read as being a 3 on the abrasives list?) and have also just ordered the Z-PC from Zaino.
The car will be getting the full Zaino treatment (Z-7, clay, Z-5, Z-2, Z-8) after the machine polishing is finished.
I've never had to tackle oxidation like this and was wondering if the LC Orange with the Megs or the Z-pc would be enough to cut or should I look to get a more aggressive compound. Please feel free to provide any feedback or suggestions.
Thanks.
Nathan
