Took an epic journey into the NC mountains to our cabin and spent two weeks cruising around! We also attended the 2017 Blue Ridge Boxster Summit and enjoyed it immensely!

Had great weather until our return trip-then it pissed rain on us all the way from SC into FL!

Put a little over 2500 miles on the 991 and are about to crack 20K miles! It was a great trip and a great road trip vehicle!














Had some friends from Naples head up and spend a few days with us with his new to him Turbo S.

Great looking views of the mountains. Didn`t know there were mile high areas in NC.

Did you bring any detailing supplies along to maintain the 991 during those 2500 miles? Or did the rain keep it clean?
 
LED: I did. I received one 2BW while I was up there. Bugs knocked off with waterless. Glass cleaned. That`s about it. It`s coated so it stays relatively clean!

It looks like you had a good time. I was up in Virginia mountains (at the base of them to be precise, 5 mile from Blue Ridge Parkway) this weekend and the weather was good all weekend.
 
Looks like an awesome trip. I liked all the pics up until the last one...I hate dealing with rain on long trips.
