Besides the rumor spreading and misinformation our local media specializes in, (I call the Des Moines Register the Des Moines Inquirer), they do sometimes come up with something so ridiculous as to be funny.
I just received an e-mail about todays weather.
The subject line:
WE'RE MELTING!
Considering the temperature right now is 9 degrees Fahrenheit I don't know if I really believe them.

Actually it is a big improvement. Some parts of the state were 25 degrees below zero a couple of days ago. We were lucky in this area. I think about -12 to -15 was as cold as we got. Couple that with the 6 to 10 inches of snow on the ground and car care isn't doing too well right now. I try to keep the interior vacuumed out regularly, but probably haven't washed a vehicle in 2 or 3 weeks. :wall:wall:wall

9 degrees at 10:30, Charles it was 29 in Audubon on the bank clock at 10am. Real nice out today, even got a nap this afternoon, then sprayed on some DP primer on the scout. RANDAL

Actually it was at about 8:30.
We did get into the high 40's and are expecting 50's tomorrow. :yay:lmfao:bigups:bow:crazy2:
