Ouch!

Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time. I wonder what the lady helping him asked... "sir are these your tires?" :D



That had to hurt!!
 
Wonder if he was hurt? Probably more shock than anything. I'll bet he thought he was hit by a car at first.
 
I saw car lose a wheel like that once...I was actually in a fancy tire place and this tire came bouncing into the parking lot. I looked up and saw this car plowing into the highway median, dirt flying everywhere, along with another car that had dodged out of the way. Miraculously, no one was hurt; the driver had just picked up his car from a body shop after an accident repair and his steel wheel (which I inspected as it lay in the parking lot) had broken nicely in the hub area, leaving all the nuts and the center of the wheel on the car (I guess). Pretty lucky for everybody, since this happened at 50-60 mph on a busy two-lane each way divided highway.
