OTC Upholstery Protectant?

Picking up my new car today and, of course, not paying a gazillion bucks to the dealer for either interior or exterior protectants!!!

So, I got the exterior figured out but have no clue as to what I should buy OTC to protect the seats. Seeing that I didn't figure this out ahead of time and order some stuff from a site vendor, I need to get something locally.

What do you recommend? I only have Wal-Mart, AutoZone and Advanced Auto here in town so selection may be limited...

Thanks-JeffW

All they spray on the interior is a scotch guard type of product. Sometimes its in liquid form, sometimes its in a aerosal can. I can't beleive they tell people that it protects from stains too. All it does is prevent it from sinking in to the fabric so quickly.

Anyways go get yourself a can of scotch guard. It'll do the trick.

Yep I would agree with that 100% assuming anyway that this is a fabric interior we are talking about.

I agree 100% to can of ScotchGuard and your good to go.....just reapply every six months or so and that's going to take care of it.

Excellent... just got home in the new car to check this thread, now I'm back out to get some ScotchGuard.

If you can get some 303 High Tech Fabric Guard it's 10x better then Scotch guard....the roll off with 303 is incredible.

I also recommend the 303. It's a great product. The only place I have found it is at West Marine. None of the local auto places in my area have it.

How is the price, by comparison? I've been eyeing the 303 Fabrig Guard, but I'm not so sure I would be able to use it as cheaply on customer vehicles....

I lucked out... in my rinki-dink town there really isn't much available. AutoZone here only carries the ScotchGuard and is out, and all the places we went didn't have either that or the 303. Looks like I'll be calling Jason @ AG bright and early Tuesday AM for some 303.
