Are these steps in the right order and do you think the combination I am using is good?

Wash: Turtle Wax ICE Soap

Clay: Meguiars Clay Bar

Cleaner: Meguiars Ultimate Compound

Wax: Mothers Synwax

On top of Synwax: Mothers Reflections Top Coat

Meguiars UC is more then a cleaner. If you are looking for just a cleaner I would look into Meguiars Deep Crystal.

I would

Wash DG 901

Clay Meguiars or Clay Magic

Polish with Meg UC (if needed something aggressive)

then Meguiars Scratch X

Seal with Duragloss 105 or 111

If you are going to use the Mother's Top Coat, then you might consider also using Mother's Reflections as your base coat. From what I have read, I think you'll get greater durability from Reflections. I have used Reflections on my black car, and I like its look very much; but I understand that SynWax looks better than Reflections on light cars. And Reflections and Top Coat were formulated to work together.

I also agree with getting both Ultimate Compound and SwirlX. Though UC may finish out LSP-ready, it may not, in which case you'll want to go over the car with SwirlX, too. Do a test spot first. You may discover that the less abrasive SwirlX will do the job for you.

I personally would choose Megs Gold class car wash over the turtle wax. All the other recomendations are good.
