Anyone know of a decent over the counter All in One - such as Optimum Poli Seal or Megs D151.

I wanted to do a quickie one step for a friend this weekend and found that my Poli Seal has virtually liquified for some reason!! I contacted Chris at Optimum to find out what might have happened...

Don't have time for a mail order to get here by Sat...

D151 isn't OTC around here but it is a great AIO. I've used A12 Cleaner/Wax with respectable results. A12 looks nice, cleans well and lasts a couple months. I still use it around door bottoms and sills and hood and trunk inner parts.

D, call your local body shop supply store and see if they can have it for you tomorrow. In general, the D151 (great product) is sold in gallons and very affordable.

Duragloss 101 would be comparable to Poli Seal and you can get it local. D151 has a lot more cut then Poli Seal I would call local Paint and Body supplier see if they carry it as mentioned

Same thing happened to me recently. The high temps from our record-breaking summer heat did a real number on the products left in my garage. Especially the Optimum products, for some reason. Anyway, I don't think you really need to buy new stuff. Shake the PS, I mean *really, really shake it!* Shake it 'till you think your arms will fall off. At some point, you will feel the PS go from a very watery consistency and begin to thicken. It happens quickly, kind of strange. After it thickens, shake it some more. Its now ready to use. It will work fine. Oh, remember to make sure the cap is on tightly...don't ask me how I know that!

Meg's ColorX - Despite the name, it's not one of those "match your color to your car paint" products. Excellent chemical cleaner, oxidation remover, with decent correctional ability (depending on pad type). I have gotten 2 months of appreciable durability.

I'm still awaiting a reply from Chris at Optimum but I will certainly try that.

I actually have that!!! I'm wondering if a Meg's orange pad finish out ok??? If the shake, shake, shake thing doesn't work I may give it a go.

Thanks Tom. I had though of that but a gallon would last me 1,000 years....and them some...

Thanks Sal329. Another option. Headed to Pep Boys after work. Wonder if they might carry it.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the quick feedback!
