Hi im from England :brit

Im going to be visiting orlando late March and would like to visist some car cleaning shops to get some products which we cannot get overhere except via the net .. could you guys give me some addresses and ideas to go.

thanks in advance :xyxthumbs

I would take a drive to Tampa and check out CMA (Classic Motoring Accessories). They are going to be your best bet to get a wide selection of products. Pretty much all you are gonna find in Orlando are auto body and paint supply places that cary Meguiars or 3M and then the auto parts stores.

Ya, Autogeek is a 2 hour drive south. I live in Orlando there is nothing an autopian would want locally that you could not get at home.

Yup. Even in the states, the internet is our freind.

I'm thinking next house? Circular driveway. Not for me. For the UPS driver. :LOLOL

thanks for the replies chaps, guess im going have to drive to get some products then ...

Anything you guys would recommend to do whislt over there ?

You mean other than gorge yourself on detailing supplies (I can't even imagine the combined breadth of CMA and Autogeek)? Kennedy Space Center is one place, if you are so inclined (not sure how much the tour has been diluted post-9/11). There is also the Air Force Space Museum at Cape Canaveral, which used to be much less "touristy", which used to only be open on Sundays, but now seems to be part of a daily tour, although it looks like you might be limited in the time they let you spend there.

If you want to drive a couple hours north, you can go to Daytona Beach (and drive on it!), see the speedway, etc. There are, of course, the numerous theme parks in the Orlando area, which someone else will be better able to brief you on.

If you hit Daytona, drive on the beach, hit the speed world, take the track tour ect...

If you drive down to autogeek it took us 2.25 hours from Orlando and I live near the University of central Florida, the far east side. I would stop in Palm Beach and tour that area. Grab Diner at the beach and then head back or down to Miami.
