Options for mobile water retrieval?

Jean-Claude

Keeper of the beautiful
I carry my own water in a 200 gallon tank and I may be in a situation where I will need to retrieve my used water(or as much as is reasonable). What options do I have?

Thanks fellas.

Is it reasonable to charge more for being a legitimate business that retrieves the water waste?

Not that it really makes a difference. Ultimately, I must retrieve my water to be EPA and county compliant to attain my business license...

^^^^^ yep ^^^^^^^

EPA is the reason I have ONR and only use ONR on all my clients cars prior to detailing, or just washing

no mess to clean up - maybe 1/2 gallon ends up on the floor, and that dries even before I finish vacuuming the interior or doing the glass!

I found a guy who builds custom sales for boats, and he was able to duplicate the rightlook wash mat (1,200) for only 250. 2 years later and it is still same as the day I bought it.

EPA still requires you catch 1 gallon of water. My county will not give me a license regardless of how little water hits the ground if I don't catch it. ONR or not, I will have the same need for a berm.

Maybe your area is different, but there are a number of members here including Scottwax that are under water & environmental restrictions and as a result, use Optimum No Rinse.

It's much more economical than the alternative.

Doing a ONR pre-wash spray followed by normal ONR washing I use puppy training pads that work really well, easy to position, very inexpensive compared to the mats and berms. Just my frugal/cheap alternative as they do the job needed collecting all run-offs and drips. :bounce
