After seeing Scottwax's post on ONR+Power Clean for wheels, I became skeptical. Won't Power Clean directly from the spray bottle be more effective? Will it be to aggressive to use as is?

this optimum power clean looks promising and as soon as i'm out of my current APC, i'll be purchasing a gallon. i have yet to be totally dissatisfied with any optimum product that i have tried...

Have you neglected to read the instructions on the bottle? Clearly stated on AG's site it states, "To clean wheels and tires, Optimum Power Cleanâ„¢ can be used at full strength or diluted up to 3:1." I feel that any info from Scott has been very useful for myself and many others. A good example would be with window cleaner. Do you soak a whole window with cleaner, or do you find a small spray and a microfiber offers the same result. Do yourself a favor and try this product. You won't be dissapointed. Heck, you may find that you can dilute it even more for other applications...:getdown

I talked myself into it too the other day but don't remember why any longer. I'm trying to lower the amount of products I have. I currently use Megs APC and dilute it to work for everything from cleaning wheel wells, to cleaning the dash, to cleaning upholestery. Can power clean be used on upholestery too?

A great product that has many uses either straight or diluted for the job. After my first trial spray bottle I ordered three gallons. Will take the place of many other products!

I may have to use PowerClean as my cheaper replacement for P21S Total Auto Wash. I love TAW, just don't like the price with it.

Good dilutions I have found effectve are: Engine and jambs 1:1, Wheels-tires-wells 3:1, Presoak 5:1, Interior surfaces 10:1, Carpet TLC and light stains 20:1

I have been wanting to try this as well, just the price seems a lil high but I still may bite the bullit and get it

that's what i thought too as i can get two gallons of another APC. but... i'm sure this is worth every penny and like i said before, i haven't been let down by Optimum...

Every Optimum product I have tried has lived up to what I was hoping to get out of the product. Im sure the Power Clean will be the same, still the initial fact of gettin more for your money. If I was getting paid for my details then maybe I would not worry as much

I'm still thinking of trying this out but I'm definitely considering it's fairly high price tag.

Now that I think of it, I should have ordered this stuff during the Labor Day Sale. :(

Just to let you guys know, I am such a happy power clean user, I ordered 2 cases today! Thats a total of 8 gals!!! This product is def a top product, and with the dillution being what it is, you can expect a long life. I do a ton of cars and I def see this lasting and being a better quality that most products within its work ability. And remeber, this product has soooo MANY uses! if you used it as your standard APC your dillution rate is 20 to 1. That is something to consider when you see the price.

I got my gallon in June and it is still 2/3rds full. I suspect for someone who only details their own cars a gallon will last a couple of years.

BTW, it is a great degreaser for your road or mountain bike. :)
