Optimum Polish by Hand?

For the faint of heart, or those that may not have a pc and still want to use a high quality polish, is it possible to use Optimum Polish by hand? Or how difficult to attain good results?



The reason I ask is that I have not yet gotten up the nerve to use my newly purchased PC on my 2 new cars because the surfaces are near perfect, and I don't want to introduce any swirls. But this week I will start my winter prep and wanted to start with a nice polish (Optimum), followed by AIO and a zillion layers of SG. (FYI...Someday I'll build my PC skills on my daughters yucky 99 Saturn).



Thanks for any advice...
 
if you have a pc, use it! I used one for the first time today on my brand new car (scion tc) and its amazing the results you can get with it vs by hand. yes i did pause before I hit that one switch the first time, but hey, I did and not bad came out of it. go for it!
