Optimum Opti-Seal?

The Rainmaker
While I have no interest whatsoever in the Zaino WOWA product, it would be of some interest to me to hear some comments on the Optimum Opti-Seal.
Optimum Poli-Seal topped with the Optimum Opti-Seal sounds like it might be a good combination for my fiberglass boat.
Surely someone here has tried it.

I just tried it late this afternoon, so while I can't give any durability results, I can say it looks pretty good.

Application is a breeze since it is a WOWA product and a little bit goes a long way. If the durability is decent then Optimum has a winner on their hands with this product. On silver I found it to have more gloss and look wetter than Z-CS, and the initial slickness was more like what I expected in an LSP than I had with Z-CS.

John do you get the hazing some experienced with OS?
No, I didn't have any problems with hazing. I purposely laid it on pretty thick on my black mirrors to see what would happen and the only thing I noticed was it took longer for it to dry.

Perhaps on a darker color a larger area might be more prone to hazing if you lay it on too thick, but with silver it looks pretty good. I probably used more than I really needed, but I was in a hurry to finish before I lost daylight.

Tried OS on my tail gate and black plastic. Black plastic has Duragloss#271 on it. Driver side has Duragloss#105 X2 passenger side also has #105 X2 about a week ago. Applied OS on the passenger side and black plastic too. The pic was taking 6 hours after applying OS. Real easy to use.
I primed it with 2 light spray on the yellow applicator that came with the product.

When applying OS I used a circle motion. And I didn’t see any streaking.

Walk away.

6 hours later took pics.

I can’t tell any differences. Driver’s side and passenger have the same slickness. Also I can’t tell between the two sides in wetness, deepness or reflection. Maybe yal can?
I like the product and it’s real easy to use. It will cut your time down.

Just a few questions so I'm sure I understand what was done.
Driver side has Duragloss #105 X2, passenger side also has #105 X2 about a week ago.
So this is DG #105 one week old, right?

Applied OS on the passenger side and black plastic too. The pic was taking 6 hours after applying OS.
And this is one week old DG #105 with the OS applied 6 hours earlier. Correct?
If I understand correctly, the driver side picture is DG #105 after 1 week. The passenger side is DG #105 after 1 week with OS over it 6 hours ago.
To me, the passenger side reflection appears more sharp or clear. The lighting may be slightly different, but not by much. That surprised me a little since it didn't seem likely that the OS would improve the clarity of a previous sealant. I can see it not taking away from it, but I would have expected it to be the same.
I guess maybe that's why we need to try the products before we decide what they will look like. :)

Anyway, it looks great no matter what was used.
Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures and making the comparison.

Yes you are correct! The sun was on the drivers side.
