Opti Seal vs rain

Hey all,

I ordered a bottle of Opti Seal (and the rubber pet hair brush) from AG in the final moments of their Free Shipping- No minimum! sale. I decided to try this to maximize the extremely limited time I can spend detailing. The weather being as notoriously shifty as it is, what kind of impact will rain contact make within hours of applying OS? I've searched the forums but haven't found reliable (as in the same, multiple times) answers.

Generally if a sealant is exposed to moisture before it fully cures you just lose a little durability from the sealant. So for example, if a properly cured sealant would normally last 6 months....you'll get 2-3 months out of it instead because it wasn't allowed to fully cure.

But like Ron mentioned...with our current UV ratings in Florida breaking record highs, sealants are curing faster than ever. Literally :)
