Opti-coat turned into gel

Went to use a tube of opti-coat that I have had for about a year, went to apply to the pad and it was a gel. I used it on some headlights just to see what would happen, still flashed and seemed normal after application. Anyone used it like this? I wont use it on paint, but may try in on wheels.

I would definitely contact Optimum, change in viscosity indicates that the product has begun curing and this may compromise performance.
