My Wife's Audi A6 is "getting the treatment" after a long winter and her paint was in a little worse shape than I thought. I've washed it with Zymol and used Meg's clay.

Now my question is what would you use next as a pad/paint cleaner/swirl remover?

*Used Menzerna Intensive Polish with Edge 2000 blue polish pad
I plan on using Menzerna Intensive Polish whith Edge 2000 yellow light cut pad
and go over the area already done, Just started and didn't really like the results.

My next step is to use Edge 2000 blue polish pad or white pad with Meg's # 9 SR.

I'd hate to order/buy another product
1- since Menzerna Intensive Polish is supposed to do the job on paint in this condition.
2-Stop the job and wait for UPS to deliver a new product,(Des Moines dosen't have the greatest selection of products.)
And yes, I've already done my NSX with the PC 7424 and am comfortable with it's usage and methods for various products. Not a pro by no means, but comfortable.

*Pics are after claying

Thank you in advance for your reply!

Hey there Sky,

Well, you kinda contradicted yourself with the pad/product combo. The Edge Blue pad is very soft; I typically use it as a final polish or glazing pad. I would use the Edge Yellow or Green pad with Intensive Polish, and then step down from there. While you want the product to do the work, you need a little bit more aggressive of a pad to kick it in there for you.

The middle picture look great though~~

Another question, did you step down to a final polish afterwards? IP dosen't yield the greatest of results itself. I would suggest using your Edge Blue pad with FP or a final polish of your choice (#9 would work here too). This will yield better results, especially on black. From there, protect the surface.

Try that and get back to us.....with lots of pics :)
