ONR vs. The Dirty Black GTO

So not that long ago I purchased some ONR because I read so many positive posts about it. I ordered some and it showed up about two weeks ago. I used it a couple of days after it came in. Well since then the temperature has dropped and it started raining. Oh joy. Well today was the first nice day in about a week. Black cars and rain just don't mix.

Lookin good, I love those GTOs, I hope to have one next spring.

Are all of your mods under the hood or do you have any on the exterior?

I've done some suspension and exhaust mods. I don't see doing much to the exterior other than keeping it clean. On tap for next year are more suspension mods, a supercharger, and wheels and tires. Wheels being Weld Prostars or Draglites.

Nice and clean now. :)

How long did your first time using ONR take?

I don't remember the exact time. I know it went really fast. I'd say it took me about 45 mins or so. The wipe on wipe off wash still kinda throws me for a loop.

Nice. What kind of mitt did you use to wash with? Did you wash the pannels one at a time or small sections. I'm just wondering since I've also picked up some ONR, and I'm also completely new to the whole rinsless wash thing.

I used a MF wash mitt for the paint. I washed one panel at a time. When I did the wheels I used a MF/sponge thingy and a wheel brush. What's surprising is that it doesn't take long to wash your car this way. I've been using the single bucket method cause of the weather here.

Looks great Shauna!! If you use it often enough, you'll wonder why you have all that car wash solution around!!! Atleast I do.

It's going to be hard giving up my foam gun...:dance

same here, I will be for cam spray foam wash down first before ONR'ing in the garage

in extremely cold weather, when it isn't I will go back to my beloved wash buckets

and foam gun's! :chuckle:

glad you like it but since I used few times on my black car "after foam rinse down"

ONR smears allot especially if you use it as a drying aid or and too generous with

wash bucket mix. "I see some smears in your trunk picture" :grinno:
