Online auto parts suppliers

I am in need of a headlight assembly for my Frontier.

There are so many suppliers online I figured I`d just ask if anyone recommends any particular site or knows which one(s) to stay away from. Perhaps from previous experience.

These stinking headlights are 170+ from a local auto parts store and under 100 online (and they appear to be the same to me at least)

I was going to get the fancy Anzo halo lights but I keep reading too many bad reviews so I`m just gonna keep them stock and get better bulbs.

Sadly I can`t find an amazon prime supplier with the factory looking headlights for my 06 frontier, just the halo ones..so I`m left searching the web.

I stumbled upon an amazon prime supplier with the driver side factory looking light .. I will try rock auto

now I`m afraid if I replace just one light, even with polishing the other one down, its still gonna look strange

amazon and rock auto for new

for used, i use car-part.com if they`re still around (haven`t needed "old" parts in some time)

rock auto has an easy to navigate site
looks like you can even get -regular - economy- or CAPA certified from them ... I`m guessing CAPA certified is my best bet, now it makes me think that the amazon one I was gonna buy for 90 bux is probably not CAPA certified.
I probably don`t need to be cheaping out on a headlight assembly.

order placed. was the same serial number as the capa one from rock auto and found it on prime so should be here wed on my day off

if it sucks I`ll send it back and just buy one from autozone or whatever

They`re all really the same, I buy all of our aftermarket parts from Keystone/LKQ for the lifetime warranty.

I`ve done OK with RockAuto too, and the Keystone headlights I put on the previous Crown Vic were very good (lots of aftermarket headlights for those cars are lousy).

512Detail- You might do OK replacing just the one light. My wife`s A8 has one that`s relatively new and the other has a hard ~160K on it, but I bet nobody but us ever notices the diff. To *me* it`s really obvious, but well..you know :o

The aftermarket parts are not always the same as the factory. I have purchase aftermarket headlights for two vehicles now and both were different. One was better in terms of brightness but left off the lateral adjustment on factory and the other had a poorer light pattern.

to be frank, this 06 frontier is no A8, lol

I`m just hoping it fits and holds the bulbs I buy to put in it

I just need it to get me by for most of the year, I think im` gonna trade in the truck sometime in the summer and get a newer used daily driver

Come up here to PA and get you a nice late model Frontier 4x4 6mt, they seem to be going cheap up here.:P

I was thinking more STI Impreza hatchback. They stopped making them. I always wanted one. They are kind of funky looking, yes. But man that seems like it`d be a fun daily driver for a few years then I`d get rid of it and get a german car probably.

German cars are definitely drivers car. Mine is a blast, especially with the manual transmission. Can you guess which one gets pulled out of the garage most often? :D

I might as well vote for Rock Auto and Amazon too. The only two online places I buy auto parts from. I am a frequenter of the Autozone brick and mortar store.
