One Step/Slight Filling Wax

I am cleaning my mother in law's car this weekend, she wants it to look good but not pay a fortune, I am looking at a one step polish to remove most of the swirls and water spots and then a wax with a little filling action. I was thinking of ZPC or maybe Sonus Swirlbuster follwed by NXT? Any better combos you can think of? Ican push it a week if there is something that will not break the bank oput there. Not looking for perfection but 90%. I normally just correct the paint all the way but this is not what she wants so.....I will be using a PC and edge 4 inch pads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Megs #66 is my goto AIO. Much stronger chemical cleaner than ZPC, about equal abrasive action. Its a pretty good swirl hider. I think too many folks keep trying to polish cars that have crap all over the paint and then just get re-swirled anyway. I just AIO and top with 845IW, keeps the car looking good for months and doesn't sacrifice clear that will only just get re-trashed.

Sound advice. Give your customer what they want to pay for and expect to receive.

Ive noticed too that D151 PRC fills lately(I say lately as in more than it used to?) too.

I can't wait to try out some D151, I'm really hoping all that has changed is the abrasive package. The thing about M66 that I love is the very strong chemical cleaners, they cut through oxidation very fast without hours of polishing and tons of pad clogging.

D151 is great. They buff used cars with it were I work. Cars come out perfect. Somethimes a porter will use it by hand on new cars, they come out great too. I did my car by hand with it , the gloss was outstanding . I followed with Collinite 845 , perfection.

im wanting to order some of that d151 myself. Seems like a lot of people are taking a liking to it. Almost wonder if i should order 2 gallons LoL.

I think most people report pretty crummy durability unless topped and no swirl filling.

That's good to know, Im making a list for my next order and it was between D151 and Klasse, looks like I'll be trying out Megs.
