PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
Come the full spring detail, i really just want to do a 1-step and done. And really dont want to buy any more products. I was in the driveway and did two small areas with..

1. BF TP & SEAL
2. DP POLI COAT PAINT SEALANT (New formula)

Side by side they both looked stellar. Both were easy to work with. So what and why would be your choice?

Leaning towards P&S.

I believe BF TP&S has a wee bit of cut to it (but could be misremembering) whereas DP PoliCoat has chemical cleaners.

PoliCoat will last longer but TP&S may help the paint a bit. Depends on what you want.

Well since BF is an AIO and DP is a sealant + prewax cleaner IMHO it depends on the condition of your vehicle. Does it need a light polish? If yes - BF. If no, DP.

Yea, Kind of figured as much. P&S will remove light swirls, dullness, contamination and mild oxidation. Win/win. DP has a bonding agent and some cleaners built in also. Thinking BF might yeild better results for what i am after. After winter neglect etc...

Every car even show cars should be polished once or 2x a year. I'm talking an ultra fine abrasive polish. Chemical cleaners imo aren't as effective unless the paint is near perfect. I will use a cleaner wax if I'm wanting to try another wax or sealant and I want to remove the old LSP. Otherwise, it's usually an ultra fine polish 2x a year for me.
