One of my most drastic transformations

Guy came to me with a 94 3000 GT with 110k+ miles. It had very bad deep swirls, oxidized paint, a hood that looks like someone who had no clue what they were doing tried to wax it (was all stained and had dark blotchy spots), faded trim, and a just in general looked horrible. (this picture barely shows how much was wrong... i'll try and get some others, you can see how bad the swirls were looking at the rear... really deep scratches that went front to back paralell to the ground)

Here is after some clay, 1z Ultra Paint Polish (By hand... love this stuff. First time using it and it got most the deep swirls the AIO wouldn't touch), AIO with a PC, SG and p21s. Again i'll try and get some pics that show it a little better. This thing looks a ton better... I doubt anyone will even suspect it has that many miles on it.

The client was so impressed that even after just the 1z he said it looked 10x better and was definatly worth it... I had to try and convince him that we were just getting started and it was the stuff still to come that really made it look good.

Nothing beats a happy client.

The rims really needed some work too... they were all stained and really looked as old as they were... thanks to that p21s all surface restorer stuff they now look like they were just put on. That stuff gets :up :up in my book.

The scratches on this one were about as bad as the ones that the AIO wouldn't get out on yours. If you want to bring it by again some time and give what I used on this one a shot we might be able to make it look even better.

Dr. Jones, that's an amazing job! Good work!

Can you tell us more about 1Z UPP? You were able to get these kinds of results by hand? How long did it itake? Does 1Z leave any kind of haze or marring when applied by hand?

Good work, Doc! :bow

The 1Z stuff is certainly impressive. However, I think you were misled if you believed AIO would remove any amount of swirls. There are no abrasives in it, so the only thing doing any work is your foam pad. You really need a swirl removal or a heavier cleaner like DACP to remove any amount of swirls. AIO will only clean the oxidation.
